There was a lot at stake for Longhorn heading into the summer. Every click had to count toward building lasting connections with aspiring Grill Masters.

Grilling Secrets on Full Display

Longhorn Steakhouse wasn’t chicken about offering expertise to would-be Grill Masters at the beginning of summer. They saw the microsite as a sizzling opportunity – a win-win. They would offer recipes, tips, games, prizes, and access to their grilling pros while learning about their future customers.

The Solution

With Grilling season upon them, Longhorn turned to DBS for help launching their new microsite and e-blast campaigns. The microsite featured interactive components to engage visitors and give new and seasoned grillers tips for the grill.

Interactive Sweepstake Quiz

The microsite featured a small tips and tricks blog with new recipes for the grill. All recipes were available for easy sharing or to download and print.

  • Is it Done Yet? 
    The grill masters helped visitors with the sometimes vexing issue of doneness. The site listed temperatures and appearances to get steaks and other grilled delights just right. 
  • Portions Worth Sharing 
    Knowing that food is communal and fun is contagious, we ensured users could share their favorites on social media.
  • Getting Users on the Board 
    With the promise of email offers, news, and more, we attracted users to join the Longhorn Steakholders Club.
